School hosted the Frank Anthony Memorial All India Inter School Debate Competition (Category II – Pool B11) on July 14, 2025. Conducted in strict accordance with the guidelines issued by the CISCE, the event brought together ten reputed schools from the pool for a day of spirited debating and intellectual exchange.
The programme began with a warm welcome address by Ms. Ankita Joshi, Director of the School, who greeted the judges, guests, and participants. She spoke about the importance of such platforms in nurturing critical thinking, confidence, and clarity of expression among students.
Earlier in the morning, the topic – “AI can be a tool but not a mode of education” – was announced at 10:00 AM, as per the Council’s format. Participants were given one hour to prepare.
The event was moderated by Mrs. Rita Pandey, Middle School Coordinator, who ensured the smooth conduct of the proceedings and maintained the decorum and flow of the debate.
The panel of judges included Mrs. Priya Chauhan from The Doon School, Mrs. Megha Jaiswal from Hopetown Girls’ School, and Mrs. Sanchita Thakur from St. Joseph’s Academy. Their insightful and fair adjudication helped identify the most deserving speakers and teams.
The debate was attended by students of Class XII, Senior teachers, and the Principal, Mrs. Pallavi Gupta, all of whom appreciated the depth of arguments and the relevance of the topic.

- First Runners-Up (Individual Category): Vanshika Nautiyal (St. Patrick’s Academy)
