On October 26, 2024, Ann Mary School proudly hosted its Middle School Inter-House Music and Dance Competition, showcasing a remarkable array of talent across various categories.
Solo Semi Classical Dance
In the solo semi classical dance segment, Tavishi Arora from Indian House captivated the audience with her performance, securing first place. Hitakshi Lohani followed closely, presenting a beautiful fusion dance earning the second position.
Group Dance
The group dance category brought vibrant performances to the stage. Indian House claimed first place with their high-energy Hip Hop routine, while Pacific House showcased their impressive freestyle western dance, finishing in second place.
Music Categories
The music competition featured three exciting categories:
1. Choir Singing
First Place: Indian House with the song “True Colors.”
Second Place: Pacific House for their performance of “I Am Alive.”
2. Solo Singing
First Place: Lavanya Srivastava of Arctic House for her soulful rendition
of “Let It Go.”
Second Place: Ishaan Modak of Pacific House, who performed “Golden
Hour.”
3. Instrumental
First Place: Sanchit Batra of Arctic House, who dazzled the audience
with his magical keyboard performance.
Second Place: Viraj Dhadwal of Atlantic House, who impressed with
his Cajon performance.
The competition was a splendid celebration of creativity, with each house showcasing its unique strengths. Indian House emerged as the Overall House Trophy winner for Music, with Pacific House following in a commendable second place. In the Dance category also Indian House took home the trophy, while Pacific House secured the runners-up position.
The event was graced by the presence of Chairperson Mrs. Anuradha Joshi, Secretary Dr. Jitendra Joshi, and Director Ms. Ankita Joshi. The gathering concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Principal Dr. Preeti Saxena, who acknowledged the hard work of all participants and the spirit of camaraderie that filled the day.
