Deepti Kaira, a distinguished alumna of Ann Mary School, visited her alma mater to celebrate her success in the Uttarakhand State Upper Subordinate Civil Services Exam. Deepti, recently appointed Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Uttarakhand Police, was warmly welcomed by the Director, Ms. Ankita Joshi, along with the school staff and students. Also present at the ceremony was Deepti’s mother, Mrs. Pushpa Kaira, who was honoured for raising two-star alumni Deepti and her twin brother, Deepesh Kaira.

Deepesh, an under-trainee IPS officer, made headlines by securing an impressive All India Rank (AIR) 86 in the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023.

The school management felicitated Deepti for her outstanding achievement. During the ceremony, Deepti shared an inspiring message with the junior students: “Success comes from dedication, resilience, and hard work. Keep believing in yourselves and stay focused on your goals,” she encouraged.

In her address, Principal Ms. Preeti Saxena said, “We are incredibly proud of Deepti and Deepesh. Their success shows the power of hard work and determination. They are role models for our students, proving that with perseverance, anything is possible.”

The event was attended by teaching staff, students, and Vice Principal Mrs. Pallavi Gupta, all of whom were inspired by the achievements of the Kaira siblings.

Deepti also expressed her nostalgia at meeting her old teachers, saying, “The foundation of my success was laid right here in this school. The lessons and values I learned here have guided me through every step of my journey.”
