Ann Mary School participated in the third Annual KULTURA FESTA, hosted by the Modern Foreign Languages Society at The Doon School on November 7th, 2024. This vibrant cultural festival brought together schools from across the region to celebrate the beauty of language learning, creativity, and cultural diversity. Our students showcased their exceptional talents and linguistic skills in various exciting competitions, reaffirming the school’s commitment to the holistic development of its students.
Outstanding Achievements:
Spanish Poem Recitation: Kavya Joshi emerged victorious in the Impromptu Poem Recitation competition, clinching 1st place in the Spanish-language category. Her impressive performance left both judges and peers in awe, demonstrating her eloquence and fluency in Spanish.
Hands-on Creation – T-shirt Painting: Ann Mary School also took 1st place in the T-shirt Painting competition. Barika Khan and Shambhavi Bahuguna presented a stunning design that perfectly captured the theme, “Modern Foreign Language Learning Experience.” Their artistic flair and imaginative designs earned them top honors in this creative challenge.
Singing Competition: Our talented singers, Dipanshi Joshi and Vaidehai Aggarwal, impressed the audience with their captivating performances of Spanish songs medley “soledad y el mar” and “hey”. Their soulful renditions helped Ann Mary School secure 1st place in this event, showcasing both their vocal talent and passion for music.
Treasure Hunt: In the French-language Treasure Hunt competition, Ann Mary School demonstrated excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities. Sanchit Batra and Kanishka Gupta worked together seamlessly to decipher clues and tackle puzzles, securing an impressive 2nd place in the event.
Quiz Competition: In the Quiz event, Swastika Sati, Shaurya Veer Singh, and Charul showed great knowledge and quick thinking. Their performance was commendable, and they contributed to the school’s strong presence in the competition.
The students were guided by the unwavering support of their mentor teachers, Ms. Ketiki Kathpalia, Ms. Lavneet Gulati, Ms. Nupur Rana, Ms. Deepali Kaushal, Ms. Shubangi Singh and Mr. Prashant Attrey whose encouragement and expert guidance played a pivotal role in the success of the students.
