Ann Mary School celebrated the remarkable achievements of two outstanding students, Sanchit Batra and Manvi Anand, in a special felicitation ceremony on 9th December 2024. Students from classes 6 to 12 gathered to witness and celebrate the accomplishments of their peers. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of School Secretary Shri Jitendra Joshi and Director Ms. Ankita Joshi.
Sanchit Batra, an 8th-grade student, was honored for his exceptional performance at the Indian Debating League (IDL) held at IIT Delhi on November 30th, 2024. Competing against over 1400 students, Sanchit reached the finals as part of the Uttarakhand team, showcasing his debating skills and intellect on global issues. His remarkable achievement brought pride to Ann Mary School.
Manvi Anand, a student of Class VII-D, was recognized for her outstanding performance at the International Karate-Do Championship in Amritsar (Nov 22-24, 2024). Manvi won a gold medal in Kata and a silver medal in Kumite, representing the country at the international level. Her dedication and passion for Karate shone through in her achievements.
Shri Jitendra Joshi and Ms. Ankita Joshi’s presence at the ceremony served as motivation for students to strive for excellence. Ms. Ankita Joshi addressed the assembly, and her motivating words inspired the students to aim higher in their pursuits. The leadership team expressed their pride in Sanchit and Manvi’s accomplishments and emphasized the school’s commitment to nurturing talent across various fields.
