76th Republic Day Celebrations at Ann Mary School: A Grand Tribute to the Nation

Ann Mary School celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The event began with a warm welcome extended to the chief guest, Ms. Ankita Joshi, Director of the school, by the students and staff. The celebrations commenced with a soulful prayer by Mrs. Rita Pandey dedicated to the beloved nation, setting the tone for the day.

The highlight of the event was the flag hoisting ceremony, led by Ms. Ankita Joshi. The students then captivated the audience with a series of cultural performances. A vibrant group dance, choreographed to a medley of patriotic songs, was performed by the girls of classes VIII and IX. Furthermore, Sommya Chauhan of class XII delivered a graceful solo dance performance on the soulful song “Maa Tujhe Salaam,” adding a special touch to the occasion.

Students from classes VI to VIII showcased their strength and discipline through a beautiful yoga display, while the school choir united everyone with their rendition of heartwarming patriotic songs.
In her speech, Ms. Ankita Joshi highlighted the importance of fulfilling one’s duties as citizens, noting that rights and duties go hand in hand. She encouraged students to contribute to the nation’s progress with sincerity and dedication.

The event, skillfully hosted by Rishabh Khandka and Navya Sahni, concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal, Dr. Preeti Saxena, who expressed her gratitude to the teachers, students, and staff for their efforts in making the event a grand success.
