On 29th January 2025, Ann Mary School hosted a heartfelt Shirt Signing Ceremony, a cherished tradition that holds deep meaning for both students and staff. The event was attended by the Ms. Ankita Joshi, the Director of the school, Principal Dr Preeti Saxena, teachers, and the outgoing Class 12 students, marking an emotional milestone in the students journey. The ceremony began with the tradition of reciting the morning school prayer, a moment that brought the passing out batch together for the last time in this special way. This prayer, recited with reverence and gratitude, set the tone for what would be a deeply sentimental occasion.
The students took turns signing each other’s shirts, creating lasting memories and strengthening the bonds of friendship formed over the years. Each signature served as a keepsake, symbolising the countless moments shared between classmates and teachers. The teachers, too, joined in by writing their blessings and offering heartfelt words of encouragement for the students’ future. Their messages were filled with warmth, wisdom, and optimism, leaving a lasting impression on the students as they prepared to face the challenges and opportunities ahead.
One of the most emotional moments of the ceremony was the final rendition of the “School Song” sung by the entire group for the last time. The familiar melody filled the air, stirring emotions and bringing forth a flood of memories from their time at the school. The song was a moving reminder of the bonds they had formed and the experiences that had shaped their journey.
As the ceremony drew to a close, a group photo was taken to capture the moment—one last memory together as a class. With teary eyes and full hearts, the students bid farewell to their alma mater, knowing that the lessons learned and the friendships forged at Ann Mary School would remain with them forever.
