Cheers to Our Little Graduates!

It was a day of immense pride and joy as the eager kindergarteners of Ann Mary School gathered to celebrate their grand day—Graduation! A momentous occasion marking their first step towards formal education. The event commenced as the Ann Mary staff and management members entered the hall, marching in unison to the school song playing in the background, representing the spirit of unity and excellence.


The Chief Guest for the event was Shri Jitendra Joshi, accompanied by the Guest of Honour, Mrs. Anuradha Joshi. Also present were Ms. Ankita Joshi (Director of the School), Dr. Preeti Saxena (Principal), and Mrs. Pallavi Gupta (Vice Principal), along with the parents, teachers, and students of Upper Kindergarten, all filled with excitement and pride.


The ceremony commenced with a heartfelt prayer led by the Kindergarten Coordinator, Mrs. Anubha Negi, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the ushering in of divine grace. A Vandana Dance by Class III added to the spiritual ambiance, embodying the spirit of love and devotion. Attendees were immersed in the school’s vision through a movie showcasing school activities and Ann Marians’ achievements, reflecting the institution’s commitment to holistic development.


The proceedings of the day were skilfully conducted by students of Class IV & V. It was a moment of pride and celebration as the graduates from all six sections of Upper Kindergarten were felicitated in the presence of their proud parents. Dressed in bright red gowns and hats, the young graduates looked as vibrant as the rising sun, basking in the admiration of all.


The celebrations featured an array of delightful performances, with the most striking being the energetic medley dance by students of Class II, which enthralled the audience and added to the joyous atmosphere. The event continued with a melodious performance by the school choir, filling the atmosphere with harmony and enthusiasm. Mrs. Sonia Meet, Coordinator of Classes I & II, addressed the gathering and informed parents about the curriculum and the evolving education system as the children step into formal education. She highlighted the school’s efforts in ensuring a seamless transition for young learners, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their academic journey.


Speaking on the occasion, the Director of the School, Ms. Ankita Joshi, congratulated the young graduates and their parents. She reflected upon the remarkable achievements of the school so far and emphasized that Ann Mary is a futuristic school, continuously evolving with the latest trends in education. She proudly shared that the school is introducing Artificial Intelligence and Robotics as subjects and has set up a dedicated lab to encourage innovation and learning in these fields. She further stated, “We are working on several upcoming initiatives aimed at enhancing students’ learning experiences and creating new opportunities for them.”


Dr Shravan Kumar, Director, School of Liberal Arts, in his inaugural address, spoke in detail about the journey of the President of Uttaranchal University and about Uttaranchal University. He expressed his sincere best wishes to all the children of Ann Mary School for a bright future.


In her vote of thanks, Principal Dr. Preeti Saxena extended her heartfelt congratulations to all graduates and their parents. The principal highly appreciated the creativity, hard work, and dedication shown by the staff.


The ceremony concluded on a high note with the rendition of the National Anthem, leaving behind cherished memories of a truly special day.
