Ann Mary School celebrated the exceptional achievements of two of its students FSKA World Cup in Goa

Dehradun, Uttarakhand – Ann Mary School celebrated the exceptional achievements of two of its students, Bompu Karlo and Shreya Gogoi, who demonstrated outstanding performance at the FSKA World Cup in Goa. In a special felicitation ceremony held on November 21, 2024, the school honoured these young martial artists for their remarkable accomplishments.

Competing against 2000 participants from 13 countries, Bompu Karlo clinched Gold in Kata and Bronze in Kumite, while Shreya Gogoi secured Silver in Kata and Bronze in Kumite. Both students have earned the prestigious opportunity to represent India at the JSKA World Cup in Japan in 2025.

During the ceremony, School Director Ms. Ankita addressed the gathering and praised the students’ dedication. “These achievements exemplify our school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals,” she stated. The students were felicitated in the presence of distinguished dignitaries including Principal Dr. Preeti Saxena and Vice Principal Mrs. Pallavi Gupta.

Special recognition was given to their instructor, Sensei Saptarshi Mukherjee, an AIBSKA JSKA World Hall of Famer, whose expert guidance has been instrumental in shaping these champions. The celebrated achievements have also garnered media attention, with Bompu’s performance being featured in The Times of India.
