Ann Mary School Celebrates International Yoga Day

Continuing its tradition of mindfulness and discipline, Ann Mary School celebrated International Yoga Day within its campus, even amidst the ongoing summer vacation. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from young Ann Marians , reflecting their deep rooted commitment for holistic well being.


The session commenced with a serene Yoga Prayer, setting a calm and focused tone for the day. Students then performed a series of asanas including Cobra Pose, Tree Pose, Camel Pose, and the Sun Salutation, demonstrating both skill and dedication.


Director Ms. Ankita Joshi in her address emphasised the relevance of yoga in the lives of children. She encouraged students to practice yoga daily, as integrated in the school’s curriculum.


The celebration reaffirmed the school’s strong commitment to yoga as an essential part of its all-round approach to education truly in line with its motto: “Live, Learn and Play in Peace.”
