Like each year, Ann Mary School hosted the Inter-School Chess Tournament on the 16th and 17th of August 2024 under the aegis of the Dehradun Council Schools Association (DDCSA). Twenty-four prestigious schools of Dehradun took part in the tournament. The event kick-started by deciding the fixtures on a lottery basis. Since Chess is a game of “MIND” boys and girls put their heads together to beat their opponents. At the event, international chess rules were followed to decide the winners. Shining trophies were presented at the award ceremony to the proud winners by the Director Ms. Ankita Joshi and Mr. S.K. Mehta who graced the occasion with his presence.
