On November 8, 2024, Ann Mary School organized its inaugural Alumni Speaks session, offering students of Classes 11 and 12 a unique opportunity to hear from successful alumni. The event featured four accomplished former students, who returned to share their experiences and discuss how Ann Mary School played a key role in shaping their careers.
The featured alumni included:
Pranav Khandka: An NTSE scholar and IIT Kharagpur graduate, Pranav is currently working at LinkedIn. He spoke about how his time at Ann Mary School helped him develop the resilience and skills needed to excel in the competitive world of IIT and beyond.
Vivek Goel: Also an NTSE scholar, Vivek graduated from IIT Kanpur and has been accepted into IIM Ahmedabad. He shared how Ann Mary School helped him build critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which have been essential to his success in both engineering and management.
Aisha Jain: Aisha, a 2024 graduate with a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and a CGPA of 9.14, now works as a software engineer at Chubb, a US-based insurance company. Aisha discussed how the school fostered her curiosity and adaptability, which helped her succeed in the tech industry.
Priyashi Khandka: Priyashi, a software engineer at BP Global, completed her B.Tech in Computer Science from VIT Vellore in 2024. She reflected on how Ann Mary’s emphasis on discipline, teamwork, and holistic development prepared her for a successful career in the fast-paced tech industry.
During the session, the alumni not only shared their personal journeys but also answered the curious questions asked by their juniors. The students of were eager to learn from the experiences of their seniors, and the alumni offered valuable advice on everything from managing academic pressure to navigating the challenges of higher education and professional life.
In her closing remarks, Principal Dr. Preeti Saxena thanked the alumni for returning to share their stories and insights. She emphasized that their success is a reflection of the strong foundation provided by Ann Mary School and encouraged current students to stay focused, work hard, and seize every opportunity for growth.
The event was also attended by the school’s Vice Principal Ms. Pallavi Gupta and other teachers.
