Ann Mary School organised its two-day Annual Day celebration for Classes I to IV on 13th and 14th December. The vibrant programme showcased a wide array of cultural performances, including various forms of dances, music, skits, puppet theatre and elocution, reflecting the creativity, confidence and enthusiasm of the young students.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mrs Geeta Dhami, President of the Seva Sankalp Foundation and wife of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami. The programme was further graced by the presence of the Guest of Honour, Mr Jitendra Joshi, Secretary, Ann Mary School, and the Chairperson of the school, Mrs Anuradha Joshi, whose esteemed presence and blessings added great warmth and encouragement to the young performers.
The programme commenced with the presentation of the School Annual Report, read by the Principal, Mrs Pallavi Gupta. The report highlighted the school’s academic achievements and the new initiatives undertaken during the past year. This was followed by the felicitation of the Class X and XII toppers, acknowledging their exemplary performance.
The cultural segment that followed beautifully brought out the talent and versatility of the young Ann Marians, nurtured through the dedicated guidance and hard work of their mentor teachers. Each performance conveyed joy, creativity and meaningful messages aligned with the theme of the event.
In her address, Mrs Geeta Dhami expressed that she was spellbound by the performances and praised the school for its consistent efforts in bringing out the best in every child.
This year holds special significance as the institution celebrates 40 years of its establishment. Reflecting this milestone, the theme of the Annual Function, “World of Happiness”, resonated strongly throughout the programme.
The event concluded on a high note with the address of the School Director, Ms Ankita Joshi, who emphasised that the institution is a place where children are groomed holistically, with equal focus on academics, values and overall development. She also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the parents for placing their trust in the school and assured them that, with its rich legacy of 40 years, it will continue to live up to their expectations through dedicated efforts and quality education.
