Ann Mary School organized an exciting and educational trip for children of classes VII, VIII, and IX to the Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST), located at the Regional Science Centre (RSC) in Dehradun. The trip, which spanned three days, was a delightful combination of learning, exploration, and fun, offering children a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the fascinating world of science.

The energy and excitement were palpable as children boarded the buses on each of the three days, their spirits high and filled with anticipation for the adventure ahead. Everyone eagerly looked forward to a day of discovery and learning.

The children experienced the following:
Planetarium: Children had the chance to explore the vastness of space, learning about constellations, stars, and the Milky Way, providing them with a deeper understanding of our universe.
3D Theatre: The children enjoyed two thrilling 3D short films: The Milky Way and The Ocean Bridge, which brought the wonders of science to life in a fun and immersive way.
Himalayan Gallery: In this fascinating section, children discovered the majestic peaks of the Himalayas, learned about the region’s unique flora and fauna, and explored the history behind important fossils.
Science Museum: The Science Museum offered an interactive experience where children explored exhibits on optical illusions, mirrors, and other intriguing scientific concepts, providing a hands-on learning environment.
Dinosaur Park: The children delved into the prehistoric world, learning about the causes behind the extinction of dinosaurs, offering them a captivating look at life from millions of years ago.
Biodiversity Park: At the Biodiversity Park, children observed the rich diversity of life forms and learned about vital conservation efforts aimed at preserving ecosystems.
An Enriching Experience:
