Ann Mary School Students Explore Global Education Opportunities at IDP Education Fair in Dehradun

40 students from Ann Mary School’s 11th grade attended the IDP Education Fair in Dehradun, held at the Paramount Tower. The event provided them with a unique opportunity to engage with representatives from prestigious universities in Australia and Canada, opening doors to international higher education pathways.

IDP, an international education fair, was an invaluable experience for the students, offering insights into various aspects of studying abroad, including international admissions, research opportunities, athletic programs, and scholarship availability. The fair featured top Australian institutions such as Central Queensland University, the University of New South Wales, and Swinburne University, and Canadian universities like Trent University and the University of Guelph.

University representatives presented detailed information about their programs, faculty, career prospects, and scholarships, while also offering guidance on fee structures and financial planning for studying abroad. The counsellors explained the benefits of studying in Australia and Canada, including multicultural environments, post-study work options, and a broad spectrum of academic and extracurricular activities.

The students got well-equipped with knowledge to make informed decisions about their higher education journeys, with many expressing excitement about the potential opportunities awaiting them abroad.

This enriching experience has broadened their academic horizons, empowering them to explore diverse educational options beyond the traditional classroom setting. A heartfelt thanks to the management for providing this valuable opportunity and to the escort teachers, Mrs Kalpana Sharma and Mrs Seema Saxena, for their guidance and support throughout the event.
