Students from Ann Mary School showcased their talent and dedication at the Model United Nations (MUN) organized by Uttarakhand Yuva Sansad 2.0 at DPSG on 20 October 2024. Our team was adjudged as the best delegation. Also the event highlighted the students’ exemplary skills in diplomacy, journalism and photography with several members receiving accolades in various categories.
International Press Awards:
Shambhavi Bahuguna was recognized as the Best Caricatist, showcasing her creativity and artistic talent. Additionally, Tanushree earned the 1st Honourable Mention in photography, while Sresth Ranjan secured the 2nd Honourable Ann Mary School students demonstrated their exceptional abilities at the Model United Nations and Youth Parliament held at DPSG. Shambhavi Bahuguna was awarded Best Caricatist, showcasing her creativity and artistic talent. Tanushree received the 1st Honourable Mention in photography, and Sresth Ranjan secured the 2nd Honourable Mention in journalism, highlighting the school’s commitment to fostering diverse forms of expression. United Nations Security Council:
In the United Nations Security Council session, Shambhavi Bhatt, representing the UAE, was awarded the Best Attire Award for her outstanding presentation. Yogya Pandey representing India received a Special Mention, highlighting her effective participation.
Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly:
The Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly saw Gauri Nawani earn a Special Mention, while Shaurya Pratap Singh received an Honourable Mention. Rashi Rajput was recognized for her Best Attire, demonstrating the students’ commitment to their roles.
All India Political Party Meeting:
Soham Chabbra stood out with the Best Attire Award and also received a Special Mention for his portrayal of Shashi Tharoor. Mansavi, representing Hardeep Singh Puri, received a Verbal Mention, while Anushka Gupta garnered an Honourable Mention for her performance.
Lok Sabha Session:
In the Lok Sabha, Arnav Sharma, representing S P Baghel, was awarded Best Attire, further emphasizing the significance of presentation. Vanshika, portraying Mahua Moitra, earned a Verbal Mention for her articulate participation. The impressive performances of Ann Mary School students at this MUN and Youth Parliament not only highlight their commitment to understand global issues but also showcase their talent and hard work. The school celebrates these achievements and looks forward to have many more such performances in future.
